Dwight Elliston
President

The President of the GBA is the primary student representative for all RCB graduate students during interaction with the deans, members of the administration, faculty, outside organizations and businesses, as well as other business schools. Together with his executive management team, he is responsible for establishing the vision, mission and goals for the organization aimed at benefiting the entire student body.

Dwight became interested in Information Systems as a hobby while he was a college student. After completing a Bachelors degree, he followed his technology interest and went to work for a (now defunct) technology startup in Washington, DC. In the years that followed, he gained experience in various positions of increasing responsibility in Systems Administration.

In 2003, Dwight moved to Atlanta, and focused on diversifying his credentials by obtaining a position in systems engineering and information security, and later corporate sales. That experience inspired him to enroll in the Master of Science program in Computer Information Systems at the Robinson College of Business. He expects to graduate in August 2009.

Dwight is a native of Kingston, Jamaica. He began his secondary education at Kingston College, and later graduated from Freeport High School on New York's Long Island. He regularly participates in civic and charitable causes that benefit intown Atlanta.



   
Chung Yoo

As Executive Vice President of the GBA, Chung works with the GBA board to execute and promote the GBA's mission to increase the visibility of GSU's Robinson College of Business within the business community at large by cultivating networking ties with metro-area professional organizations, business associations, GBA's counterpart organizations from the other business schools in the Atlanta area, and the GSU Alumni Association.

Chung is a native of South Korea, and grew up in the Netherlands, Paraguay, El Salvador, Argentina, and the United States. He speaks English, Spanish, and Korean. Chung describes himself as outgoing, cheerful, and extremely easy-going. He enjoys meeting playing and watching sports, and especially likes golf and baseball.

   
William Broadway
Vice President of Finance

Previous Education: Bachelor of Science, University of Florida

As the Vice President of Finance for the GBA, William is primarily responsible for preparing a financial budget for the upcoming year. He is also responsible for auditing the financial books from the previous year, managing and tracking outgoing funds, and informing the executive committee of the financial status of the organization.

Will went to the University of Florida where he received his Bachelors of Science in Economics. He gained an interest in Finance while spending the summer breaks teaching at a charter academy in Madison, VA. He started his Masters of Business Administration coursework in August 2007 and hopes to complete his studies by May 2009. Will is also a Graduate Assistant for GSU's Athletic Department where he tutors student-athletes in lower and upper level economics courses.

Will's numerous extracurricular activities include being a Student Member of the National Black MBA Association, where he also serves as the Recording Secretary for the National Black MBA Atlanta Consortium; and working as a part-time Associate at Cornerstone Investment Partners, an asset management firm in Atlanta. In his spare time, Will enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, and following both Gator Football and the Atlanta Braves.

Will is a native of surburban Atlanta, growing up in nearby Snellville, GA. He graduated from Brookwood High School as a 2001 National Achievement Scholar.

   
Martin Hildebrand
Vice President of Community Affairs

The Vice President of Community Affairs is responsible for planning and implementing volunteer, social, and fundraising activities that benefit the chosen charities in a spirit of goodwill, and for building links with local leaders. Develop relationships with local corporations to facilitate their sponsorships of GSU activities. Act as a liaison with the Directors of Student Affairs for the Brookhaven, Alpharetta, and downtown campuses.

Martin is pursuing his MBA in International Business. He anticipates a May 2009 graduation from Robinson's MBA program and is pursuing a future career in international shipping and logistics, focusing on Latin America. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he studied Management, with emphases in Economics and Spanish. He speaks fluent Spanish and has prior work experience in mortgage sales and operations and mutual fund trading and mutual fund operations management. He is a member of the Young Professionals at the Southern Center for International Studies and he enjoys classic films, reading, traveling and practicing martial arts.

   
Michael C. Johnson
Vice President of Marketing & Communications

The Vice President of Marketing and Communications coordinates all efforts to promote the GBA's mission, vision and goals, as well as publicize all events and activities sponsored by the organization. The VP of Marketing conducts all communications with entities inside and outside the Robinson College of Business and serves as a spokesperson to various media outlets.

Michael is matriculating at Georgia State for the second time after having earned a Master of Science in Sports Administration from the University in 2005. He is currently in his second year at Robinson and comes to us after having gained a considerable experience in the fields of Recreation Administration and Sales. Michael anticipates completing his degree requirements in May 2009 after which, he plans to begin a career in Brand Banagement in the consumer goods industry.

Michael is a member of several professional and social organizations including: the National Black MBA Association, the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s, the Atlanta Quarterback Club Officials Association and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Robinson College Black MBA Student Association and is a recipient of the GSU Marketing Roundtable Outstanding Minority Marketing Student Scholarship. Michael is also a proud husband and father.

As VP of Technology, Ben works to develop the strategy for web site deployment and development that is consistent with supporting the needs of activities consistent with the GBA's mission and goals. He is also responsible for assessing and recommending technology solutions for given needs as identified by the management team, including project scope, vendor/partner identification, contract negotiation, and managing product/service implementation.

   
   
Brian Wofford
Vice President of Professional Development & Alumni Relations

As one of the two Vice Presidents of Professional Development & Alumni Relations, Brian is responsible for strengthening the connections between students and alumni of the MBA and MS programs, and the Atlanta business community. In this role, he acts as a liaison with the Robinson Career Management Center to promote career-related workshops and events.

Brian gained an interest in Health care at a young age and started working in the field his senior year of high school. He is currently in the first year of the dual degree Master of Business Administration and Master of Health Administration program at Georgia State University. Mr. Wofford plans to complete his coursework and earn his MBA in the fall of 2009; he intends to earn his MHA in August of 2010 after completing the program's residency requirement.

Brian Wofford also serves as President of Future Healthcare Executives at Georgia State University, an ACHE Higher Education Affiliate. He is a student affiliate member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of National Association of Health Services Executives, National Black MBA Association, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. In his spare time, Brian enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and golf.

   
   
Brigid Marie Scarbrough
Vice President of Professional Development & Alumni Relations

As one of the two Vice Presidents of Professional Development & Alumni Relations, Brigid is responsible for strengthening the connections between students and alumni of the MBA and MS programs, and the Atlanta business community. In this role, she acts as a liaison with the Robinson Career Management Center to promote career-related workshops and events.

Brigid is beginning the flex-MBA program in the Fall of 2008 with a concentration in Organization Management. Brigid works as the Operations Director for Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions. Her primary responsibilities include running the day-to-day operations of the Metro-Atlanta classes and events by working with area organizations and managing the staff of the center.
