The President of the GBA is the primary student representative for all RCB graduate
students during interaction with the deans, members of the administration, faculty,
outside organizations and businesses, as well as other business schools. Together with
his executive management team, he is responsible for establishing the vision, mission
and goals for the organization aimed at benefiting the entire student body.
Frank Weber is a native of Bad Wildbad, a small Black Forest town near Stuttgart,
Germany. After finishing his Abitur degree, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in International
Business at Florida State University. During his studies, he began working as a Marketing
and Sales Manager for a small, Florida-wide ISP, Florida Digital Turnpike (FDN). He then
worked in the Private Client Group of Merrill Lynch. Upon graduation, he worked in parts
marketing at the North American headquarters of Porsche Cars, in Reno, Nevada. Upon relocation
of the Porsche headquarters to Atlanta, Frank began working in Sales and Marketing for the
Atlanta based photo-plastic extrusion firm, Orasee Corporation. Within two years, he assumed
the position of Vice President and was responsible for a European joint-venture with Agfa Corporation
working with sales, production and marketing.
In early 2004, he co-founded TCP, Inc., a telecom and IT consulting firm, where he currently
holds the position of Chief Financial Officer. Frank enrolled in the MBA program at Georgia State
in 2002 and has been an active GBA member since 2003. His major is International Business
and he expects to graduate in the Spring of 2006.

As Executive VP of the GBA, Roop works with the GBA board to
execute and promote the GBA's mission to increase the visibility
of GSU's Robinson College of Business within the business community
at large by cultivating networking ties with metro-area professional
organizations, business associations, GBA's counterpart organizations
from the other area MBA schools, and the GSU Alumni Association.
GBA seeks to sponsor and expand the awareness of networking
activities among the student body at GSU's Robinson College
of Business.

As the Vice President of Finance for the GBA,
Jihyun is primarily responsible for preparing a financial budget
for the upcoming year. Jihyun is also responsible for auditing
the financial books from the previous year, managing and tracking
outgoing funds, and informing the executive committee of the
financial status of the organization.

The Vice President of Marketing and Communications coordinates all efforts to promote the GBA's mission, vision and goals,
as well as publicize all events and activities sponsored by the organization. The VP of Marketing conducts all
communications with entities inside and outside the Robinson College of Business and serves as a spokesperson to various
media outlets.
Raised in NY & Florida, Jon spent most of his early years competing as a national caliber
swimmer. After several injuries, Jon began coaching and eventually became an assistant coach
at University of Florida and later a program director in Colorado. Jon had the fortune to work
with and coach 14 U.S. Olympians, 3 Olympic Gold Medal Winners and 2 World Record Holders. Several
entrepreneurial endeavors brought him into the field of marketing and eventually he moved to Atlanta
where he was recruited by Verizon. Specializing in Sports Marketing Jon negotiated sponsorships with
many major NCAA and professional sports organizations throughout the nation. Jon currently works
as Marketing Director for Gameday Centers - a development company that builds Luxury Sports Condominiums
in partnership with major Universities and their Athletic Departments.
Jon is very active in several political organizations throughout Atlanta and hopes to begin a Marketing
and Political Consulting firm upon graduation. He currently lives in Atlanta with his
Fiancée and their three dogs.

The Vice President of Special Events is charged with organizing and providing events to promote the
interaction of Robinson students, alumni, administration, and friends. Implementing
beginning- and end-of-semester socials to foster student interaction, for example,
GBA seeks to bridge the gap between students across business disciplines, work schedules,
and Georgia State University campuses. The VP of Special Events, along with the entire GBA Board,
aspires to 'wow' the Robinson community with an offering of lunches with notable business executives,
high-octane athletic outings, and receptions at breathtaking Atlanta venues.
One of the, he jokes, "few remaining native-born Atlantans," Justin grew up in Decatur, GA. Justin
graduated from Marist School, and he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor
in Spanish from the Georgia Institute of Technology. During his undergraduate studies, he was involved with
a variety of campus organizations such as the Student Alumni Association, the Student Government Association,
the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Georgia Tech Department of Housing. In addition, Justin
developed a love for traveling during his studies in Mexico and Spain and trips to Amsterdam, London, and
Paris. Justin interned with Procter & Gamble, and he became an employee of Nordson Corporation in Duluth,
GA after graduation. Since then, Justin has shifted gears from an engineering position to an intellectual
property/business analyst role, which complements his coursework at Georgia State University.
Justin is a member of local Atlanta organizations including The High Museum of Art, The Southern Center
for International Studies, and Fernbank Museum of Natural History. He also contributes to Marist School,
A Better Chance, National Public Radio, and the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering.
Justin is pursuing the Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration (JD/MBA) joint degrees and
aspires to practice in the intellectual property and entertainment law fields. In addition, Justin is
excited about the prestige of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business and the remarkable evolution of
downtown Atlanta.

As the VP of Community Affairs, Shermarke works closely with the VP of Professional
Development and the Student Affairs Directors to provide opportunities for the GBA membership
to give back to the Atlanta community. He is committed to building relationships with
Metro Atlanta Communities in the spirit of goodwill and with the prospect of networking
with local leaders.
Shermarke was born and raised in the island republic of Trinidad and Tobago located
to the very south of the Caribbean archipelago. He completed his secondary education at
Saint Mary's College in Trinidad and began his university career at the University of
the West Indies, St Augustine when, in his second year there, he was awarded a Fulbright
Scholarship. He then transferred to California State University Hayward and completed his
undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management. Shermarke then attended The Fund for
American Studies' Institute for Philanthropy and Voluntary Services at Georgetown University
before moving to Atlanta to begin his MBA program. He has been an active GBA member ever
since he began his MBA program in 2004 and he expects to graduate in spring 2006.

Gregory Hodge

The Vice President of Technology works to develop the strategy for web site deployment
and development that supports the needs and activities consistent with the GBA's mission and goals.
The position is also responsible for assessing and recommending technology solutions for given needs
as identified by the management team—including project scope, vendor/partner identification, contract
negotiation, and manage product/service implementation.
Greg was born and raised in Florida and is a devout fan of his undergraduate alumni, the Florida
Gators. While attending undergraduate school he focused on Object-Oriented Design practices and the
use of Design Patterns. Additionaly, he worked as a Research Assistant for the Computer Information
Systems Department and participated in conceptual software research programs.
Upon graduation from UF with a degree in Computer Engineering, he moved to the Atlanta
area to further his education. Currently, he works as a Lead Software Engineer for ServTrax, a
technology-driven asset management company. When he has the time he enjoys outdoor activities, such as
hiking around Kennesaw Mountain.
