Graduate Business Association

Benjamin Barry, Vice President Technology

Now more than ever business is changing our world and in order for our society to continue to thrive we must have an active organization of professionals that supports and nourishes the businesses that will contribute to the advancement of our society. The Graduate Business Association of Georgia State University is one such organization. Through community growth, GBA members have the unique opportunity to impact the world far beyond Georgia State's borders while they are still in school. After all, the learning does not stop outside of the classroom.

As VP of Technology, my primary role is to make sure that the website of the GBA stays updated and continues to advance along with the organization and its people. Technology is a powerful tool and I can help the GBA utilize its resources to reach more people than ever before.

I have a BA from The Ohio State University in English Literature. After that period, I spent the next three years teaching piano full time. In addition I was an entrepreneur developing a few business ideas of my own. In 2011, I decided to return to school to develop my talents in business and now I am working on a Master's of Science in Information Systems Audit and Control.
