GBA Golf Lessons

You’re invited to the

GBA Golf Lessons!

New, current, and former Robinson Graduate Students, faculty, staff will have the opportunity to take golf lessons from PGA Golf Instructor Chris Knobloch.

 

Session 1 - Friday, March 21, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Hurt Park - at the corner of Edgewood Avenue and Courtland Street

o       Grip, Alignment, Balance & Putting Techniques

o       Golfing etiquette

o       Q & A

§         Golf Clubs – What is the right club for you?

§         What to do when you get to the golf course?

§         Where to practice?

 

 

Session 2 - Friday, April 4 , 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Veteran’s Hall –
Alumni Hall -30 Courtland Street

Introduction to Golf Fundamentals:

o       Chipping and Pitching - the small parts of the Full Swing

o       Golf Exercises

o       FULL SWING - Simple Fundamentals to swing the club correctly

o         Golf Course Rules

SKILLS DAY -   Team & Individual Skills Competitions

 

 

 

This event is FREE for MBA/MS students.

All equipment will be provided.

You are welcomed to bring your own equipment.

Chris Knobloch - PGA Member since 1992 and playing competitive golf in High School & College, Chris has developed his positive & energetic teaching style from years at golf facilities such as Sunset Hills CC, Dunwoody CC and the Great Waters Golf Course @ Reynolds Plantation. 

 

Chris has been Georgia Assistant Player of the Year and the past three years recognized by USKids Golf as a Top 50 Junior Instructor – Honorable Mention. He is owns Total Golf Adventures of Atlanta, the leading national after-school at school golf program for grades K – 8th. He is also currently Director of Instruction for The Golf Experience and using his teaching skills for ages 5 to 95 @ Bobby Jones Golf Club, Blue Heron Golf Course and Trophy Club of Apalachee…all in the Metro Atlanta area.

 

Chris uses the lastest technology for his students – ASTAR professional video swing analysis, Zelocity’s PureLaunch Monitor &  PureBalance Force Monitor, and the iClub swing tracking device – fantastic for putter feedback. All equipment is portable which makes his Traveling Golf Studio very informative to golfers of all ages as well as entertaining. He is also a certified putter fitter for Coutour Putters and the Balance Certified System.
